Client needs

In order to consolidate its strong presence on the wales market, the client had initiated the project of development and realisation of high technology and innovative plant for the production of energy transmission components for railway and electric-powered trams. Customer needed to meet the compliance of its innovative plant for the technology used, compared to the requirements of the Machines Directive and the European directives recalled in it and develop an asset maintenance plan once it has been installed and ensured smooth operation and compliance.

Solution

The TC2 proposal was based on the timely application of the Machine Directive to ensure both from the point of view of the design and construction of the plant, that they were verified, including and applied the requirements of the Mechanically, electrically, instrumentally and automation and control directives for the entire plant. Visits were made to sites during the commissioning phases and analysis of the various technical documents provided such as project, risk analysis of the impanto and suppliers data books in order to perform a gap analysis au CE requirements and to manage the various follow-ups. Inspection and inspection visits have been made to verify that the customer has successfully implemented the actions until they are perfectly compliant with the requirements of the directive. The customer was guided by TC2 in understanding the requirements so that they could be met.
